The world's oldest operating aquarium, open to visitors for almost 150 years, SEA LIFE Brighton is home to more than 5,500 creatures including Sharks, Turtles, Seahorses, Rays and even an Anaconda!
In 2019 SEA LIFE Brighton launched a state of the art new attraction Day & Night. The first of its kind in the UK, Day & Night offers guests the chance to experience the 24-hour wonder of a coral reef as it moves through the day in 750,000 litre display. Dance along the bio-florescent tropical shore and marvel in the beauty of coral reefs. Journey through our underwater tunnel or wave Hi at our floor to ceiling NEW viewing window to our Sharks and Tropical Fish as well as our beloved Green Sea Turtles Lulu & Gulliver!
All of this is in addition to the Victorian arcade, rainforest adventure, secrets of the reef, conservation cove and sea stars zones as well as the ever popular interactive rock pool where guests can touch a star fish!

Toilets & Baby Changing: Male and female toilets include baby changing cubicles.
Changing Places Facility: Includes height-adjustable adult change table, privacy screen, accessible toilet and sink, dimmable lighting, and wide access door.
Service Dogs: Only registered service or guide dogs allowed with medical/support proof. No other pets permitted.
Coffee Shop: Located in the Victorian Arcade near the Ray Pool, offering snacks and drinks.
Conduct: No loud noise or disruptive behaviour.
Smoking: Only allowed in designated smoking areas (no e-cigarettes inside).
Dress Code: Proper clothing (tops and shoes) required; offensive clothing may result in denied entry.
Children: Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
Mobility: Only wheelchairs, pushchairs, and mobility scooters are allowed as transport inside.
Free cancellation or rescheduling is allowed up to 24 hours before the experience.
SEA LIFE Brighton is situated next to Brighton Pier near the seafront.
By Train: SEA LIFE Brighton is approximately a 20-minute walk away from Brighton Train Station. The easiest route is to head to the seafront down Queens Road and then turn East towards Brighton Pier. Quicker routes can be found via the North Laines however they can be a bit of a maze!
By Car: If you're travelling south from London, follow the A23 down London road until you hit the seafront. Travelling East from Portsmouth or west from Eastbourne? Follow the A27 until it merges with the A23.
By Bus: Buses run very regularly from all over Brighton and the greater region which will drop you off close to SEA LIFE Brighton. Take any bus into Brighton town Centre and head for the seafront. There is a bus stop situated a couple of minutes away from our entrance next to the traffic lights, or Old Steine bus stop a short walk away.
